- Scratches to the crystal
- Scratches to the case or metallic bracelet
- Discoloration or material changes to non-metallic straps (leather, rubber, textile)
- Plating wear or peeling
- Damage resulting from:
- Abnormal or abusive use
- Lack of care, negligence, or accidents
- Impact, crushing, dents, or broken crystal
- Damage caused by incorrect use or failure to follow operating instructions, including:
- Using the timepiece beyond its rated water-resistance or engineered capabilities
- Collateral or consequential damage arising from:
- Continued use while the timepiece is malfunctioning
- Mishandling or unauthorized repairs
- Opening or modifying the movement, hands, dial, gears, gaskets, crown, or batteries by unauthorized personnel
Any claims beyond the scope defined above are expressly excluded.
PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES & DUE CARE
Temperature:
- Avoid sudden temperature changes (e.g. sunlight followed by cold water immersion).
- Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures (below 0°C or above 60°C).
- Do not wear the timepiece in hot baths, saunas, or hot springs, as steam and chemicals may degrade seals and water resistance.
Magnetic Fields:
- Avoid strong magnetic sources such as loudspeakers, mobile phones, computers, and other high-intensity electromagnetic devices.
Shock:
- Avoid mechanical shocks and impacts, which may damage the movement or case.
Chemicals & Products:
- Avoid contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes, cosmetics, and chemicals that may damage:
- Bracelet
- Case
- Gaskets
Cleaning & Care:
- Cleaning: Wash the case and bracelet using mild soapy water and a soft cloth, then dry thoroughly.
- Seawater Rinse: After exposure to salt water, submerge and rinse the timepiece in clean, fresh water and dry completely.
Water Resistance:
- Water-resistance ratings are determined through laboratory pressure testing.
- Real-world use may involve motion, temperature changes, and environmental factors that could compromise water resistance.
- Water resistance cannot be permanently guaranteed and will be affected by gasket aging, impacts, or crown damage.
- Regular inspection and testing are recommended.
- Never operate the crown or pushers underwater.
- Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in or screwed down after use.
- Do not open the timepiece except by an authorized service center.
