FAQ
Do you ship or sell internationally? Currently, we operate exclusively within Singapore. Order inquiries, private viewing consultations, and final sales settlements are strictly available to Singapore-based clients.
Why is there no "Add to Cart" or direct checkout option? Because we craft our products with pride in strictly limited, small batches, we have intentionally disabled the standard automated checkout and delivery pipeline. We believe the acquisition of a curated boutique piece should be as considered and personal as the watch itself, ensuring complete dedicated attention for every client.
How do I secure a timepiece or register my interest? You can reach out directly via our Contact Us page, or use the dedicated inquiry form available on each individual product page. Simply submit your name, email, and phone number to express your interest.
What happens after I submit my inquiry? The founder will personally get in touch with you via your preferred contact information (WhatsApp or email). To ensure the watch meets your exact expectations, we will arrange a private, face-to-face meeting at a mutually agreed location so you can personally handle the demo unit and view the actual curated piece before finalizing your decision.
How is payment processed? Once you decide to move forward with your piece, we will issue a secure digital invoice directly through our Shopify platform.
What payment methods do you accept? Our secure checkout platform supports the following payment networks:
-
Credit Cards: VISA, MasterCard, American Express
-
Digital Wallets: Shop Pay (Shopify)
Do you offer direct credit card installment plans? We require payment for the full amount (inclusive of any applicable launch discounts) at the time of invoice settlement. We do not offer native, in-house credit card installment schemes at checkout.
Can I split the payment using my own bank's installment features? Yes. While we do not offer native financing, most credit cards issued by major banks in Singapore allow cardholders to independently convert full-amount purchases into interest-free monthly repayments via their banking app.
These programs typically charge a small, one-time processing fee, resulting in an Effective Interest Rate (EIR) starting from approximately 9.5% depending on your selected tenure (typically 3, 6, or 12 months).
As an illustrative example (such as OCBC PayLite): For a purchase of SGD $1,000 converted over a 12-month tenure, the estimated repayment structure would balance as follows:
-
One-Time Processing Fee (5% / EIR 9.5%): SGD $50
-
First Month Installment: SGD $87
-
Subsequent Monthly Installments (Months 2–12): SGD $83
Note: Please check directly with your specific issuing bank regarding their exact current processing fees and terms before finalizing your invoice payment.
Why does C O L N É S use a high-beat 4 Hz (28,800 vph) movement? We chose a high-beat 4 Hz frequency (8 ticks per second) for several critical reasons: visual fluid motion and superior positional accuracy. A 4 Hz balance wheel oscillates faster, making the movement vastly more resistant to shocks and wrist motion disturbances while driving the signature ultra-smooth, continuous sweep of the seconds hand (used by Rolex, Tudor, Cartier etc).
Doesn't a higher frequency reduce power reserve compared to 3 Hz movements? While lower-frequency 3 Hz movements (21,600 vph, commonly referenced to Seiko or Swatch movements) de-tuned "extended power" calibers achieve longer power reserves, they do so by slowing down the beat rate - resulting in a visibly stuttered, jumpy seconds sweep and reduced rate stability under motion.
The Sellita SW200-1 delivers a full 41-hour typical power reserve (38-hour conservative baseline) without compromising on 4 Hz. You get the full 41-hour class energy storage needed for daily rotation without sacrificing high-beat Swiss precision or the fluid sweep expected of a luxury tool watch.
Do you provide bracelet sizing, or can I purchase this as a gift? Every timepiece ships with the solid-link steel bracelet preserved at its full factory length, along with the quick-release molded rubber strap in the box.
-
For personal acquisition: We are glad to size the bracelet to your wrist during your private handover consultation. Any removed links will be safely returned to you.
-
For gifting: The watch can be delivered unsized with full links intact. The recipient can easily wear the tool-free rubber strap immediately, or take the steel bracelet to any professional watchmaker or contact us post-gifting for complimentary adjustment.
Watch Adjustments: Complete operating instructions are included in the boxed manual. For quick reference, crown positions are detailed below:
How do I adjust the watch. There are 3 positions -
Position I is when the screw-down crown is unscrewed (watch is running).
Position II is the date correction mode where you pull the crown out and you can adjust the date.
Position III is the time correction mode (outermost position) where the time is adjusted and the seconds hand hacks (watch stops).
Will the crown pop out? For SENTINEL, no - the high-compression O-rings create firm resistance against the spring. Turn the crown counter-clockwise (5 to 8 turns) until it reaches Position I. If needed, give the crown a light clockwise nudge to assist keyless disengagement which generates a gentle "click" sound.
How do I set the date and time when the watch has stopped?
1) Unscrew crown, pull to Position III, and set time to 6:00 (safe zone).
2) Push to Position II and set the date to yesterday's date.
3) Pull back to Position III and advance the time forward. When the date flips to today's date, you've hit midnight (AM). Continue advancing to your current time, then screw the crown down tightly.
How much winding is needed? We recommend 30 full clockwise turns if the watch has stopped.
Notes: Screw-in crowns feature an internal spring-loaded clutch mechanism that may occasionally emit a slight mechanical clicking sound during operation. This is completely normal behavior designed to protect the movement. Do not adjust the date between 8 PM and 2 AM while in Position II.
